We aim to be a leading player in the Malaysian small hydro segment. We offer competitive solutions for mini hydro power plants. Through our experience in fulfilling energy projects, we are able to offer the full project life cycle service; from engineering and design to the operations and maintenance phase, within the budget and quality desired.
In recent years, small hydropower has increasingly played an important role in meeting energy and climate goals. While most electricity-generation capacity is natural gas-fired and coal, the demand in seeking a more balanced portfolio of electricity-generation over the coming years has tremendously increased to reduce the dependency on fossil fuels.
In Malaysia, small-scale hydropower (classified as run-of-river schemes up to 30 MW in installed capacity) significantly contributes to the country’s electricity supply especially in rural areas. The development has been incentivised by a feed-in tariff (FiT) scheme adopted since 2011, that allows small generators to supply electricity to the national utility through the grid.
